What do you mean by original artwork?

We source one-of-a-kind paintings, these are original artworks that you wont find  anywhere else. Due to the nature and age of some of our paintings some may have some flaking or paint-loss, we will make this clear on the condition summary of the painting.

What condition is the artwork in?

The condition of each artwork varies, due to the age, artwork or frames may have some imperfections, we always disclose these in the condition summary.

Why is the artists name sometimes not listed?

We like to focus on the art itself, and want you to love the piece for what it looks like as opposed to the name connected to it. That said, if we feel it is relevant or the artist has been featured in interesting spaces, we will let you know! Additionally, due to the nature of vintage art, quite often, even though there may be a signature on the painting, we have been unable to verify the artist or its provenance.

What areas are included in your free delivery?

We deliver free within England, Scotland and Wales. 

Do you ship outside of the UK?

Yes, but please contact us directly at hello@retoldart.com stating the name of the piece you are interested in and the shipping address so we can provide you with an accurate shipping quote. 

When will you ship my products?

We aim to ship within three working days as some pieces might be in storage. We, of course, always aim to get your order out as quickly as possible. Once your order is shipped you will receive a confirmation email and additionally the delivery provider will contact you to confirm the delivery day. 

When will I know when my order has shipped?

We will send you an email confirmation. 

I made a mistake with my order, can you change it?

If we have't yet shipped your item, please contact us as soon as possible on hello@retoldart.com, we will try our best to rectify any mistakes. 

I would like to return my purchase

Please refer to our returns policy. We always want to make sure you are happy, and we will try our best to support you. 

My purchase has arrived damaged, what can I do?

Please email us straight away at hello@retoldart.com along with photographs of both the box and art.
